Founded in 1862, USD is South Dakota’s oldest university. Located in Vermillion, the school sits on a 321-acre campus and is nestled along the bluffs above the Missouri River in the southeast corner of South Dakota. One thing that stands out when compared to all other accredited institutions offering an occupational therapy program, is that USD has had a 100 percent pass rate on the NBCOT for the past six years straight. Faculty is nationally and internationally recognized, and the school gloats on the fact they have a 100 percent job placement rate. Tuition rates are approximately $300 per credit hour for residents of South Dakota, and $700 for out-of-state students.
