Students interested in becoming occupational therapists can do so from start to finish at the University of New Hampshire through their combined bachelor/master’s 5-year degree program. UNH offers students many more chances than other universities. For example, every year hundreds of UNH students head for destinations all over the world to engage in classes, internships, research and experiential learning. Plus, UNH is partnered with select international schools to provide a unique opportunity to students of both campuses. Students from UNH enjoy the opportunity to study abroad while paying UNH tuition and maintaining their UNH financial aid. Students from abroad are invited to do the same. This exchange program has really helped diversify the student body.
Students attending the occupational therapy program are encouraged to get involved with SOTA, or the Student Occupational Therapy Association. This program is designed and run by students for the benefit of students. This program gives prospective OT’s a chance to get out into the community before graduation.
