Towson University offers students a chance to earn a bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in occupational therapy. Students must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA throughout the program they choose in order to continue. By working closely with faculty in small classroom settings, students will gain the essential skills needed to succeed in clinical practice, research, education or administration. Students who attend the OT program at Towson have an advantage in their clinical settings since they get to participate in these rotations in top medical institutions including Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, Kennedy Krieger Institute, University of Maryland Medical Center and the National Children’s Hospital.
Founded in 1866, Towson University is one of the oldest institutions in Maryland and has over 21,000 students attending annually throughout their 100 different programs. Just 10 minutes north of Baltimore, Towson offers students a suburban life with the city close-by. Towson University is a founding member of the Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities (CUMU).
