Casper College is the oldest two-year school in the state of Wyoming and was founded in 1945 on the third floor of Natrona County High School. It stayed in the school until 1955 before moving to its own location close-by. Overtime, Casper College has increased to 28 buildings on the campus. The occupational therapy program is one of 50 associate degree programs, and began offering classes in 1996. With a pass rate for the NBCOT at 93 percent, most alumni report back that it was easy getting into the field after graduation. The program requires completion of 76 semester hours and the last semester is spent working under the supervision of a practicing therapist for 2-eight week sessions.
