Mountain State University was founded as Beckley College in 1933 and is located in the heart of southern West Virginia with 97 students and classrooms rented from a local church. The occupational therapy assistant program offered at MSU is known for its outstanding pass rates for the NBCOT and its program director was awarded with the West Virginia “2011 Elizabeth Devereaux Lectureship.” She will deliver the keynote Elizabeth Devereaux Lecture during the 2012 conference, and has also been honored with the award. She received the “2005 Elizabeth Devereaux Lectureship” in West Virginia. With over 25 years of OT experience, she is a frequent presenter at national conventions.
