Linn-Benton Community College (LBCC) offers students a two-year associate degree program designed to prepare the student to function as an entry-level occupational therapy assistant (OTA). LBCC was established in 1966 as a two-year public college to serve the residents of Linn and Benton counties. However, because the student body is so diverse and has several different needs, the school is now open to anyone who wishes to attend. The campus houses a learning resource center, bookstore, 500-seat theater, library, conference facilities, and a student lounge and coffee shop. History buffs may enjoy the fact that the original 13 contemporary brick buildings are connected by covered walkways that encircle a landscaped courtyard.
