Some would say River Valley Community College is a safe school to attend, and they’d be right. According to the schools crime statistic report, there has not been any type of crime reported since 2009. Founded in 1968, the main college campus is located on Route 120, two miles north of the city of Claremont, NH, within easy access to I-91. The Claremont campus sits on 180 acres and has a nice blend of rural with cultural, business and shopping centers. Courses are also offered at the RVCC Academic Center located in Keene, NH.
Due to its prestige environment and highly qualified staff, tuition rates are on the higher end, with in-state residents paying about $210 per credit hour and non-residents paying about $478 per credit hour. However, RVCC states that over 85 percent of their student body uses financial aid to help them accomplish their goals. The occupational therapy program is just one of seventeen programs the school offers for associate degrees.
