Central Community College (CCC) is a multi-campus community college that serves a 25-county area in central Nebraska. It is approximately 14,000 square miles and has a population of more than 300,000. The Grand Island campus is the only one in the state of Nebraska to offer an OTA program. The CCC Occupational therapy assistant program focuses on critical thinking, caring, creativity, and sociable responses.

Once admitted into the program students must be CPR certified and must have a membership with AOTA (American Occupational Therapy Association). Students will have a variety of educational settings such as fieldwork, laboratory, and coursework. Tuition rates are more affordable than at other community colleges. Nebraska residents can expect to pay approximately $88.00 per credit, while non-residents can expect to pay about $128.00 per credit.
