The Brown Mackie College in Idaho is one of 25 Brown Mackie schools in 15 different states across the US. Before it grew to such proportions it was the Kansas Wesleyan School of Business, which opened on September 12, 1892. In 1938 it was converted to the Brown Mackie School of Business under the ownership of two instructors for the school Mr. Perry E. Brown and Mr. A.B. Mackie. Over the course of the next few decades several other schools joined forces with the Brown Mackie School of Business and American Education Centers (AEC) – a parent company – to become the Brown Mackie College family of schools.
The Boise campus is located in the center of the city and is surrounded by natural beauty and urban amenities and this campus is said to be a hub for commerce, government, and banking. Unlike other schools, Brown Mackie College has a “one course per month” policy. This way, students can focus on one subject per month to help complete their educational requirements. This college also offers day and evening classes.
